Father God,
I want to thank you for taking care of our little miracle. For watching over all the doctors and nurses in the surgery room, for protecting Averi in every way that you did. Father you gave this precious miracle to Brad and I and I thank you for choosing us to do your work with her, for giving Brad and I the faith to totally put all of our trust in you. Please continue to heal Averi and place your angel around her. Thank you father for allowing Brad and I to do your work.
Good Morning,
Well we had a good night, the nurse made Averi as comfortable as she could, she received pain medicine along with an antibiotic around the clock. Averi and I slept in the crib together and Nonnie slept in the lay out bed. Sight to see, will post pictures once I get home. Yesterday Dr. Ortenburg stated that if she does well today, taking her formula and fever free he is going to send us home being that she is more comfortable in her own environment, he wants to make her as comfortable with the tubes as possible.
Brad and I want to send out a HUGE thanks for all the prayers that were being made for us.
I will post with more updates as the day goes on.

God Blessed Averi Rose!!!!!!!
Update -
After 3 1/2 hours of surgery Averi is out!!!! The doctor has already met with the family and said that Averi is doing great. She has a stint that will stay in for about 1-2 months and a tube coming out of her kidney for about a week. As long as Averi does well tonight and stays fever free they will come home tomorrow. The family would like to thank everyone for their prayers, but ask that the prayers continue. God please be with the family tonight, watch over them, help them to make it home safely, and put your healing hands on Averi for a quick healthy recovery.

Kelli just called me and Averi is still under. She is doing great. Hopefully the next time we update our little Angel will be out of surgery. Please keep praying.

Surgery Has Begun
Hey all,
Just an update...Surgery did not start at 9:30 as planned. They finally took her back for surgery at 12:00pm (Noon). The doctor wanted to make sure that everything was checked and double checked. When they came to get Averi...Kelli and Brad put her on the bed to bring her back for surgery and Averi was not happy...She was crying and did not want to leave mom and dad behind. Yesterday they were hoping that surgery would only last about 2 hours, but the doctor informed them today that it might be closer to 4 hours. I just got off the phone with Kelli and the doctor just came out and said that Averi is doing great and that there was a serious blockage and they are going to go in and remove the blockage. Please say a prayer for our Angel and her family. This is a very hard time for them right now as many of us could only imagine. Please also say a prayer for the doctors that are performing the surgery today that their minds stay clear and their hands stay strong. I will update again once I hear something from Kelli.

This is Aunt Liz. I am going to be updating the blog letting everyone know how Averi is doing. I just got off the phone with Kelli and they are checking in right now and surgery is suppose to start around 9:30am. Please keep Averi and her family in your prayers.
