RESULTS......

Test were ran and Doctor was seen and we are blessed!!!!! Dr. Ortenburg is happy with the results from the surgery. Before the surgery Averi's left kidney took 25 minutes to drain and now it only takes 10 minutes to drain. There is a 4 minutes difference between the two kidneys, however results are great. Dr. Ortenburg stated that the left kidney will never run like the right one because there is damage from recurring UTI's. The damage is not a concern to him right now due to the fact that it is doing its job. We will go back in 6 months for another test to see how things are going with the left kidney. Thanks for all the thoughts and prayers!

Our trip to Georgia was an experience that we will never be forgotten. To start off, everyone knows how I feel about flying. As you can see I made it thru, however I was about to have a break down when we were getting onto the plane in Charlotte, North Carolina. The plane was a 32 passenger plane and only had 9 rows on it. Of course, everyone was picking on me and making the situation worse than it already was. That plane made more noise than you can imagine. At one point I told my Dad that it was deathly ill ( if I only knew). We arrived into Augusta, GA. around 10:00 pm, and headed to Grandmas. Wednesday Grandma, Nonnie, Averi and I headed to get our hair done. That evening the bottom fell out.......... basically the stomach virus started. (I think that the plane started it) I was the first, and you know how that goes when you start something...... Nonnie and I had to go to my Nannie's shop, which has a doctor's office on one side, and get aPhenergan shot, went back home and I started again around 2:30 p.m., Nonnie thought that she was going to have to bring me to the ER, Nannie pulled thru and got a Paramedic to come to Grandma's house and put an IV in to get some fluids into our system. So Nonnie and I got some fluids around 6:00 p.m. Thursday Night. STAY AWAY FROM ANYONE WITH THIS.....ITS DEADLY....... My Aunt Lisa got it Friday, Tanner and Austin got it Saturday, Uncle Barry got it Sunday, Poppie got it Sunday Night, and Brad (mind you he did not even go) got it Tuesday. Everyone is ALMOST back to normal, Nonnie and I are still cramping up really bad, but nothing like before. Nonnie and I did get out for a little while Saturday afternoon, wearing our LSU gear and can I tell you the looks that we received pulling for the Tigers on the Bulldogs grounds. GO TIGERS!!!!!!! Grandma and Grandpa had a blast with Averi, she received so much loving!

******SPECIAL THANKS TO POPPIE AND NONNIE***************

We will be leaving tomorrow morning around 7:00 a.m. to head down to New Orleans, testing began at 10:00 a.m. Please pray for Averi that the surgery was a success and a true blessing from God. God has done such amazing things in our lives and has shown us such amazing miracles with our little trooper. We will see Dr. Ortenburg at 1:00 p.m. Please pray for our safetly tomorrow and a great report from the doctor. Thanks for all your thoughts and prayers. They are greatly appreciated.

Getting Ready for GEORGIA

Well the time has come when I am packing up and getting ready to go to Georgia. Poppie, Nonnie, Uncle Ounie, Averi and I are flying out Tuesday at 4:00 p.m. from New Orleans and headed to Grandma and Grandpa's house. I have to say that I am very excited to be able to bring Averi to her Great-Grandparents house. Let me say it like this, I am truly a nervous wreck, I will be more excited once we are there. The best thing is Nonnie just informed me the other day that we fly to North Carolina and then into Hephzibah, Georgia, which is about ten minutes away from Grandma's house. I was okay, to an extent, about getting on one plane, but now its two, really not settling well with me. We will stay from Tuesday night and fly out on Sunday morning. Grandpa has already informed us that they have a bunch of things planned for us to do. Nonnie and I have a hair appointment with my aunt on Wednesday, there is no tell how I will come back looking, because right now, I could care less if I got it all cut off.

I started packing today, OH MY WORD, did not realize how hard it is to pack for a little one. But I thought that I did really well, Nonnie told me that my suitcase has to be under 50 pounds, well mind you I have Nonnies clothes in my suitcase and I managed to have my suitcase weighing in at 46 pounds. I was so proud of myself.

Please pray for me and my sanity for the next couple of days with flying.

When everything else fails, put me in my swing and I am good to go..........

Well we made it thru Hurricane Gustva. I can say that Gods hands were all around our house. My brother-in-law and his family(live right next door) came and stayed with us and they had four HUGE tress come out of the ground and at my father-in-laws house which is just two doors down, they had three HUGE trees come out of the ground. Two trees landed on his pump shed. Other than a total mess, everyone is fine. Brad and I have many of things to be so thankful for. We lost power at 9:15 a.m. Monday September 1 and received it back at 5:30 p.m Sunday September 7. We were blessed with an air conditioning unit, we ran the generator for the fridge, some TV, water (well water), and air when needed. We had to pick which ones were more important at the time. Averi was not happy with the situation at all, she was so confused. Thank goodness the lights came back on at Nonnie's Friday night, because she went over on Saturday and spent the night. Nonnie stated that she could not get enough sleep.

Well we start back to school tomorrow and I need some prayer.....its going to be like starting over for my kiddo's. Hope that everyone has a great week.
